During a wet room installation, the existing bathroom suite is fully removed to allow for a complete transformation. Walls are stripped back to bare plaster or brick and thoroughly inspected for structural integrity, ensuring they are plumb and square to provide a stable foundation for waterproofing.

The floor structure is carefully assessed, as prolonged water exposure often compromises floorboards, joists, and other timbers. Since wet rooms require a fully waterproof and rigid base, we replace the subfloor entirely, eliminating any damaged or unsuitable materials. This ensures the floor is robust enough to prevent movement and support the tiled surface without risk of cracking or water ingress.

To create an optimal base for a wet room, completely waterproof aqua panels are installed over the prepared floor structure. Unlike traditional materials, these panels are entirely unaffected by water, providing a permanent barrier against moisture. All joints and gaps are expertly sealed and reinforced to maintain full waterproofing integrity.

A precision-engineered shower tray is integrated below the tiled surface, ensuring a seamless, level finish. This hidden tray is designed to subtly guide water towards the drain, allowing for efficient drainage without visible barriers. By eliminating raised edges or steps, the wet room maintains a sleek, modern aesthetic while remaining fully watertight.

By combining a fully waterproof base with a concealed drainage system, we create a durable and maintenance-free wet room that remains protected from leaks and moisture damage.

Once the waterproofing is complete, floor tiles are installed directly onto the waterproof aqua panels, creating a durable, water-resistant surface. The required drainage slope is carefully formed using the tiles themselves, ensuring water flows efficiently towards the concealed drain.

To achieve a perfectly even and professional finish, special levelling wedges are used during installation. These wedges help maintain consistent spacing, ensuring that tiles are both level with each other and correctly angled to create the necessary fall. This prevents uneven surfaces, reduces lippage, and guarantees smooth water drainage without compromising aesthetics.

With expert tiling techniques and precision tools, we create a seamless, slip-resistant wet room floor that is both functional and visually refined.

With the waterproofing and tiling complete, the final stage of the wet room installation involves fitting the new sink, toilet, and shower. All plumbing is  concealed behind the tiled walls, ensuring a clean, modern appearance with no exposed pipework. This not only enhances the aesthetic but also protects pipes from damage and minimises maintenance.

Fixtures are securely installed and thoroughly tested. The shower system is integrated seamlessly, with controls positioned for easy access and a sleek, uncluttered look.

To complete the installation, high-quality silicone sealing is applied to all joints and edges, creating a watertight barrier that further prevents moisture ingress. This step is crucial for maintaining the long-term integrity of the wet room.

Once the installation is finished, the entire space is  cleaned, removing any dust, grout residue, or construction debris. This ensures that your wet room is ready for immediate use, with a polished and flawless finish.
